Tolko's Meadow Lake Division in Meadow Lake, Sk. is a major producer of a wide variety of oriented strand board products that wanted to see higher yields of their products but were limited by the efficiencies of the caul screen cleaning process.

 

Traditional methods of caul screen cleaning utilize high volumes of water at low pressure in a non-automated fashion which is more wasteful than it needs to be and doesn't clean the screens fully.

 

Do-Rite's solution is to employ a newly designed high-pressure caul screen cleaner that not only cleans more thoroughly but does so using less water.

 

This caul screen cleaner uses only 0.8 GPM of water at 40,000 psi and runs automatically to clean the entire width of the caul screen allowing a more efficient transfer of heat from the furnace to the board which leads to lower cycle times.
